Inviting you to stay

Le Choisel cleverly combines the culture and craftsmanship of a traditional Norman farmhouse with the comforts and convenience of 21st century living

Whether you are here as delegates on a painting, drawing, creative writing or
wine-tasting holiday, or on holiday
in France with family and friends,
make Le Choisel your
holiday home from home.

Its bright and spacious holiday accommodation makes it perfect for house parties. Groups of up to 9 can rent the whole house as a gite (self-catering holiday cottage).

Guests can either relax and enjoy the gardens or use Le Choisel as the central base for exploring northwest France’s rich diversity, incredible history and artistic heritage.

For lovers of birds and wildlife, you may spot hawks, woodpeckers, hoopoes, kingfishers and owls, while among the wildlife often seen are foxes, deer, red squirrels and coypus.

With its lack of light pollution and wide panoramic views, Le Choisel is a perfect venue for star-gazing

Accommodation

All guests have use of the spacious communal lounge comfortably seating 10, complete with English and French TV, wi-fi access, library and selection of games.

Meals can be enjoyed in either the formal Van Gogh dining room or the more informal ‘poppy dining room’, both with French windows looking out onto the garden.

Each of Le Choisel’s bedrooms are designed in homage to the French Impressionists, led by Claude Monet, who captured the beauty of Normandy in iconic images that we know so well. Traditional carved Normandy beds are the centrepieces to most of the bedrooms, and they are accentuated by the exposed wooden beams, that feature throughout the house.
